RITE-HITE° Air-Tower dock levelers feature a consistent, reliable lip crown from the rear hinge to the front hinge. RITE-HITE dock levelers also provide the smoothest transitions between the loading dock and trailer to help prevent injuries and minimize fork truck and product damage - regardless of height differential between leveler and trailer.
OPERATION:
The platform is raised when the dock attendant pushes and holds the button on the control box. The platform w ill fully rise and the lip will then automatically extend. Releasing the push button will cause the leveler platform and lip to lower to the truck bed. Nominal operating range is 12" above and 12" below dock level (+/-300 mm). The platform is designed to compensate for canted truck beds up to 4" (100 mm) and remains flush with the rear of the pit to eliminate pinch points. Lip is yieldable.
STANDARD FEATURES:
- Automatic return to dock to prevent void in the floor.
- 12" (300 mm) steel toeguards are welded to leveler platform,
- Stump-out solution to provide free-fall protection.
- Weatherseal (brush or plytex) helps maintain environmental control.
- Full range, telescoping toeguards close off sides when leveler is in highest upward position.
- Lip keepers are provided for cross traffic support and act as automatic night locks to help prevent building break-in attempts through dock areas. Entire leveler is protected with a gray enamel paint finish.
- Two laminated bumpers provided.
